The ministerial decree no. 65 of 2023 allocates 750 million euros from the "New skills and new languages" investment line of the PNRR to promote the integration of activities, methodologies, and content aimed at developing STEM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), digital and innovation skills, as well as multilingual skills, within the curricula of all school cycles.
Specifically, non-commercial private schools of the first and second cycle can use these funds to create educational, training, and guidance pathways for students, ensuring equal opportunities and gender equality.[1][5] Additionally, they can organize annual training courses to enhance the language and methodological skills of in-service teachers.
The managing bodies of non-commercial private schools can submit their application on the ministerial platform "Futura PNRR – Project Management" from November 15 to December 15, 2023.
