NEWS C&C
Apple recently launched the brand new iPhone Air smartphone. A model that promises pro-level performance and camera power while being the thinnest and lightest iPhone ever made: weighing only 165 grams and 5.6 mm thick. Center Stage front camera, 48MP Fusion main camera, A19 Pro chip, and all-day battery life — all to offer lightness and innovation without major compromises. Our C&C training manager Jüri decided to try the new model himself. Read about his impressions.
Main features that impressed me the most during the week
Being a user of the iPhone 16 Pro Max model, the thin body and design raised concerns: would the battery last? Could the camera offer detail and good dynamics? I was very positively surprised:
The battery lasted without any problems throughout the day with intensive use. Being a rather demanding and intensive phone user, I couldn't drain the battery before evening even with 6 hours of screen time. Additionally, it's worth noting that the iPhone Air can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes, so if a situation arises where the phone still needs extra power, quick charging can solve the situation. I gladly choose a phone that is so absurdly thin and convenient, and when the need arises to charge the phone, I attach the cable or use the MagSafe battery pack briefly.
The camera exceeded all expectations. No compromises have been made with the 48MP Fusion camera, and it is an extremely capable sensor. The photos are detailed, with excellent dynamic range, and the 2x optical quality zoom is impressive. The iPhone Air's camera field of view is wide enough to fit everything nicely into the frame, and the phone features the new and super cool 18MP Center Stage front camera, which takes detailed selfies and allows for capturing landscape photos without having to rotate the phone. My personal experience was that one camera brings back the good old days and forced me to be more creative when taking photos, and for example, while standing in the back row at a concert, I didn't feel the urge to take zoomed-in videos, which, honestly, I never watch, but I was able to be fully present and enjoy the live experience.
The design not only looked good, but I was surprised by how seldom I felt the phone was a "weight" in my pocket. Thin, ergonomic, and overall very pleasant to hold. iPhone Air is the only phone this season with a titanium body, and in addition to the Ceramic Shield 2 screen glass and Ceramic Shield back glass, it is the most durable iPhone. Also, the 6.5” screen is the perfect size for me, fitting nicely between the Pro and Pro Max dimensions.

Who is the iPhone Air the perfect phone for?
iPhone Air is for those who value beautiful design and usability, because let's be honest - most of the time we use the phone to consume content, and for that, the thin iPhone Air is simply wonderful! The perfect phone for those who value portability, have an active lifestyle, and want a model that doesn't feel heavy in a bag or pocket while traveling or on the go. It is also suitable for those who want innovative camera features but don't necessarily need multiple lenses - the 48MP Fusion + 2x telephoto solution is sufficient for most users.
So people looking for innovation, lightness, and the most Pro-like model possible from an iPhone should definitely test the iPhone Air as their next model. Seeing and handling it for yourself is supreme, so go to the nearest C&C salon and try it out!
